Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet patient needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes
- Stay current with best practices and evidence-based treatments in speech-language pathology
- Masters of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
- Hospital-based experience and/or Clinical Fellowship
- New York State License Speech Language Pathologist
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.)
- Certificate in Clinical Competence in Speech Pathology from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Competency in use of CSL and nasometry equipment
