AdventHealth Central Florida Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency Program
This esteemed ACGME Accredited Family Medicine Residency with Osteopathic Recognition is situated within the AdventHealth Central Florida network, recognized as one of the largest healthcare systems nationwide. Our Osteopathic Family Medicine Residency has been nurturing residents for over three decades, making it one of the most innovative training programs in the osteopathic field. The foundation of our residency program is built upon the commitment of our faculty, continuity in family medicine and pediatric clinics, comprehensive didactic sessions, and cutting-edge technology. Each academic year, we educate twenty-four residents, ONMM3 residents, and osteopathic medical students. We proudly serve as a core site for third-year students from various osteopathic medical colleges.
AdventHealth Central Florida, a comprehensive community hospital, is dedicated to serving a diverse patient population, with an annual care reach of approximately 180,000 patients, including a significant number of inpatients and outpatients.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in academic medicine, exhibit strong leadership qualities, and demonstrate effective communication skills, aligning with the mission and vision of AdventHealth. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not mandatory.
Board Certification in Family Medicine (AOA or ABMS) is mandatory.
Preferred qualifications include AOA certification or ABMS certification with OMM skills.
NOTE: This position does not support J1 or H1 visa opportunities.
