We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Redwood Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for the management of day-to-day operations, ensuring the highest quality patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and manage laboratory operations, including staff supervision and training.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and laboratory policies.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Collaborate with laboratory staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with laboratory technologies and procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or related field.
- California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License or National Certification from American Society for Clinical Pathology or National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists or National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts or National Laboratory Tech - United States Government.
- 3 years of experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Supervisory experience.
- Supervisory or managerial experience in an acute care laboratory setting.
