Production Specialist

At Telesis, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Specialist to join our team at AvertTM Vertical Cultivations, a locally-owned hydroponic farm. The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in all facets of the operation, including seeding, transplanting, harvesting, packaging, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the production, health, harvest, packaging, and delivery of plants.
- Complete daily documentation to monitor performance and yields.
- Ensure utmost facility cleanliness and safety.
- Participate in the continued development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures.
- Monitor and manage the hydroponic systems repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor monthly gameplans to ensure financial expectations are met.
- Participate in annual gameplans/budgets.
- Participate in proper training of all staff.
- Contribute content to the Marketing Team for website and social media.
- Liaison with the Telesis, Inc. executive and admin teams.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree.
- Valid Driver's License.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a mix of a production and office environment. The environment may frequently be cold, hot, wet, or noisy.
Physical Demands:
While performing the essential functions of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, to lift and move a minimum of 60 lbs. repeatedly and without assistance, to walk, kneel, and bend. Employee must be able to operate equipment for a sustained period. Employee must be able to work in both a hot and cold environment.
