Job Summary

The Cardiac Catheterization Technologist is a critical member of the St. Luke's Hospital team, responsible for performing diagnostic invasive procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Performance: Assist cardiologists with diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient execution.
  • Patient Care: Respond to patient distress situations, providing compassionate and timely support.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain a well-stocked Cath Lab.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Special Procedure and/or Cath Lab environment.
  • Certifications: Registered Radiologic Technologist (R) from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), BLS Certification with Healthcare Provider designation, and RCIS Certification.
Additional Requirements
  • Traveler Eligibility: Must be a traveler with a permanent address more than 50 miles away from the facility.
