Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated PCU Step Down Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our HVTI-Stepdown Float Pool Nights, Unit. The ideal candidate will possess a current Ohio nursing license and at least 2 years of recent PCU Step Down nursing experience. As a PCU Step Down Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing individualized care to patients with complex medical needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans, and maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in the PCU Step Down unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medication administration, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.
- Current Ohio nursing license.
- At least 2 years of recent PCU Step Down nursing experience.
- Current BLS and/or ACLS (AHA Preferred) and/or Specialty Certifications.
- Active Nursing License per state.
- Current Updated Resume.
- Supervisory Professional References.
