Art Teacher

Brevard Public Schools is seeking a qualified Art-Elem teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching art to students in grades K-6.

The Art-Elem teacher will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes the development of artistic skills and creativity in students. The teacher will plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of diverse learners and align with the school's curriculum standards.

• Plan and deliver art lessons to students in grades K-6
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Develop and implement art projects that promote creativity and self-expression
• Collaborate with other teachers to integrate art into the curriculum
• Communicate with parents and guardians about student progress and art projects

Certification in Art K-6 required. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of art education principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

The Art-Elem teacher will work in a school setting with students, teachers, and staff. The teacher will be required to stand for long periods, move around the classroom, and lift art supplies.
