Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team at VarcoMac, a leading provider of electrical & power services in the Mid-Atlantic region. As a Project Coordinator, you will assist the onsite construction field team with planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and project accounting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to onsite construction field teams
  • Assist with all stages of onsite construction field support team on projects or tasks as needed
  • Develop strong relationships with customers
  • Support and work closely with construction project leaders and Field Technicians to process tickets, invoices, scheduling, and other coordination activities
  • Assist with daily projects and safety reports on multiple software platforms
  • Answer field technicians' phone calls as needed
  • Track and organize daily payroll and accounting sheets
  • Order, Inventory, schedule and record daily material project deliverables
  • Compile required documents for scheduling, permitting and inspections
  • Participation in relevant project meetings
  • Other tasks as assigned and/or developed

Requirements

  • 0-3 Experience working in the construction industry preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
