Physical Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Hot Springs Sports Medicine. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the direction of our Physical Therapists to administer physical therapy as prescribed by physicians and instructed by our Physical Therapists.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment by following our policies and procedures.
- Provide skilled physical therapy care to patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
- Record daily clinical and progress notes, ensuring charting compliance with Medicare, Medicaid, and universal guidelines.
- Assist in coordinating other patient care activities/services to provide the highest quality of patient care.
- Administer various physical therapy procedures, including electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, traction, therapeutic exercise, and functional activities.
- Graduation from an accredited therapy assistant program.
- Registration or certification in the state as required.
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Ability to relate to and treat acutely ill/chronically ill patients/families and their particular problems.
- Strong commitment to the goals, mission, and philosophy of our organization.
- Ability to work flexible hours, as required, to meet identified patient needs.
