Role Summary

The ideal candidate will become a vital member of our talented workforce, operating within our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize precision measuring tools to verify the dimensions of finished products, ensuring compliance with specifications.
  • Install, align, and secure tools and fixtures on machinery using hand tools and measuring instruments.
  • Operate machinery to produce components, adjusting setups and tooling as necessary.
  • Input commands into CNC systems to initiate and control machining processes.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure proper lubrication and cooling.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various machining functions on metal components.
  • Review technical specifications and blueprints to determine machining sequences and dimensions.
  • Listen for operational sounds to identify issues such as dull tools or excessive vibration, making adjustments as needed.
  • Possess the ability to program and edit CNC operations as required.
  • Familiarity with MasterCam software is advantageous but not mandatory.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Availability to work the designated shift with potential for overtime.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to read and understand technical instructions.
  • Physical capability to handle components weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Knowledge of machining practices and materials is beneficial, along with general mechanical aptitude.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a focus on reliability.
