Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate ABA Behavior Technician to join our team at Community Autism Services, a division of The Stepping Stones Group. As a center-based professional, you will play a vital role in providing state-of-the-art behavioral services to children with Autism.

Salary and Benefits:

$19.00 - $24.00 per hour, paid biweekly. Additionally, you will enjoy a range of benefits, including:

Job Requirements:

This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Psychology, Sociology, Early Childhood Development, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Social Work, Counseling, and Mental Health. To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Full-time schedules of 8:00am-4:00pm
  • Childcare experience required
  • Proof of Flu vaccination and annual renewal required

Key Responsibilities:

As an ABA Behavior Technician, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Reporting directly to the supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Instructing clients on developing communication skills, fostering play, establishing friendships, and enhancing independence, while addressing challenging behaviors
  • Collecting, organizing, and summarizing behavioral data related to the child's treatment goals
  • Attending to toileting and/or changing soiled diapers/clothing as needed
  • Maintaining a professional and cooperative relationship with the caregiver(s) of referred clients
  • Ensuring the organization and cleanliness of the therapy space at the conclusion of each session
  • Participating in Clinical Review meetings for individuals on the assigned caseload
  • Committing to consistent and dependable attendance, as well as responsive and timely communication

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, speak, and listen to children. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The employee must be able to push items of 50 lbs.
