We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Inpatient Resource Pool team at Sentara Healthcare. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations to identify individual needs and develop effective care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure informed decision-making and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Current RN licensure in the state of practice.
- Minimum 18 months of experience in Med/Surg nursing, with a strong foundation in patient assessment and care planning.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including PRN status and self-scheduling.
- Availability to work a minimum of 48 hours per month, with flexibility to take on additional shifts as needed.
- Willingness to work in all units for which you are qualified and a minimum of two different units.
- Premium differential pay for working in our Resource Pool.
- Flexible self-scheduling, allowing you to work up to full-time hours if desired.
