Hours: 1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week

Weekly Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport patients to examination rooms while collecting height, weight, and blood pressure data.
  • Accurately document patient vitals in the electronic medical record system.
  • Assist with sterile processing as needed.
  • Utilize knowledge and skills to meet the specific needs of various patient demographics.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating initiative and flexibility to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Support the orientation of new staff members as assigned.
  • Adhere to organizational goals, policies, and procedures.
  • Respect patient rights and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Communicate patient care concerns appropriately and participate in their resolution.
  • Perform clerical tasks and assist with patient registration to promote efficient workflow.
  • Order and replenish necessary supplies.
  • Comply with safety regulations and standards set by governing bodies.
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills to resolve routine issues.
  • Exhibit patience, self-confidence, maturity, and compassion while working as part of a team.
  • Complete additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • CNA certification required upon hire.
  • Medication Aide certification required within six months of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of experience as a Nurse Assistant preferred.
  • At least one year of customer service experience in a healthcare environment required.

Physical Requirements:

  • This role is classified as Medium Work, requiring the ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently.
