Our team of ASE certified professionals is dedicated to delivering a wide array of services, including alignments, brake repairs, oil changes, battery replacements, shock and strut installations, belt and hose replacements, and air conditioning services.
Role Summary:
As a General Service Technician, your responsibilities will encompass performing essential service tasks such as oil changes, tire and wheel services, alignments, and fluid flushes. You will collaborate closely with ASE Certified Automotive Technicians, gaining invaluable training and experience that can propel your career forward. This role serves as an excellent opportunity for those aspiring to become certified ASE Automotive Technicians, marking the start of a rewarding career path.
Compensation: $13-$16/HR, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely transports customers using the company vehicle.
- Picks up parts and supplies from vendors or the corporate office.
- Operates the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections ethically, following company and state guidelines.
- Performs tire mounting, wheel balancing, and tire rotation services.
- Executes oil changes and other basic services as directed by the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
- Observes vehicle conditions during service and reports any obvious repairs or safety concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager, utilizing the company's Multi-point Inspection and/or Repair Order for documentation.
- Maintains cleanliness in the shop, including the service area, tire racks, showroom, and exterior, to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Adheres to all safety protocols and promptly reports any concerns to the Shop Foreman or Store Manager.
