The University of Rochester's Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is in search of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists to deliver anesthesia services to a diverse patient population at Strong Memorial Hospital and the Ambulatory Surgical Center at Sawgrass, under the supervision of esteemed faculty members from the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
As essential members of the surgical team, CRNAs collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, operating room nurses, and other healthcare professionals. They are responsible for administering anesthesia care across various specialties, including ENT, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Orthopedics, GI, OB/GYN, Transplant, Cardiac, Pediatric, Dental, Thoracic, Vascular, Trauma and Burns, as well as General Surgery.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree from a Nurse Anesthesia program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification
- At least 1 year of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care environment
- AANA certification or the ability to obtain it within 24 months post-graduation
- Current New York State Registered Nurses License
Compensation: The annual salary range for this faculty position is between $223,808 and $335,691.
This pay range reflects the minimum and maximum annual salary for the position. Individual salaries will be determined based on various factors, including market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
