Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at General Mills. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels, investigating discrepancies, and implementing process improvements to optimize inventory management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels, including investigating and resolving discrepancies
  • Implement process improvements to optimize inventory management processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inventory-related issues
  • Reconcile inventory data between SAP and Blue Yonder systems
  • Develop and maintain inventory management reports and analytics
  • Provide technical inventory support to plant operations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or related field
  • Knowledge of systems like Blue Yonder, SAP, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable information
  • Self-managed individual with demonstrated motivation and initiative
  • Strong interpersonal skills with employees at all levels
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of inventory controls
  • Experience within Supply Chain Planning or Inventory Control
  • Good understanding of Material Handling and/or Inventory processes
