Radiologic Imaging Technician (ARRT)

About the Role:

As a Radiologic Imaging Technician (ARRT) at Catholic Medical Center (CMC), you play a vital role in our healthcare team. Your expertise in operating diagnostic imaging equipment is essential in providing high-quality care to our patients. You are skilled in evaluating, responding, and modifying treatment protocols to cater to the diverse needs of our patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct all standard radiographic examinations and procedures, including fluoroscopy.
  • Ensure radiation safety for patients, staff, and yourself in accordance with established safety protocols, while preparing and/or administering contrast media via oral, IV, or rectal methods.
  • Collaborate closely with Physicians during radiographic procedures and examinations in surgical settings.
  • Support the education of Radiologic Technology students through training in Diagnostic Imaging.
Required Qualifications:

What You Bring:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Imaging Technologist is preferred.
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program and completion of a 24-month clinical internship is required.
  • Current registration with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) and compliance with annual certification renewal and 24 hours of continuing education every two years.
  • Valid license from the New Hampshire Board of Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy.
  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is mandatory.
