Key Responsibilities
- Ensures accuracy of work orders by selecting the appropriate machining program.
- Confirms that materials used align with production specifications and meet quality standards.
- Employs measuring instruments to check machine precision and calibration, documenting findings on audit sheets.
- Organizes, labels, and stacks machined components for subsequent manufacturing stages.
- Conducts routine maintenance and promptly reports any issues to the Manager or lead personnel.
- Operates machinery at optimal capacity while adhering to safety protocols.
- Engages actively in a collaborative team environment and follows established Quality Control procedures.
- Adheres to all safety regulations to maintain a secure workplace.
- Performs additional tasks as required.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent experience, with up to one month of related training or experience.
Skills and Competencies
- Proficient in reading tape measures in both standard and metric systems.
- Capable of interpreting shop drawings in standard and metric units.
- Adept at using measuring tools accurately in both measurement systems.
- Skilled in identifying and resolving common quality and machining issues.
Work Environment
Employees should be prepared to work in varying climate conditions, including heat and cold. The environment is typically fast-paced with elevated noise levels. Exposure to paint fumes and industrial chemicals may occur. Personal Protective Equipment as mandated by OSHA will be supplied by the company.
