Compensation: $250,000 - $350,000 per year.We are seeking a highly skilled Physiatrist/Medical Doctor to join our team as a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician Leader. As a key member of our post-acute care team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional physiatric care to our patients and collaborating with hospital staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, a passion for leadership, and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our experienced physician team to develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that promote optimal patient outcomes and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients in post-acute care settings
- Conduct regular rounds on patients to monitor progress, remove obstacles to functional improvement, and enhance overall well-being
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure coordinated care and maintain professional relationships with facility physicians, caregivers, administrators, and directors
- Engage with patients, families, and facility staff to set expectations, provide education, and facilitate smooth transitions
- Stay up-to-date on best practices, guidelines, and regulatory requirements related to documentation, billing, coding, and CMS compliance
Requirements:
- Unrestricted NJ Medical License, CDS, DEA certification
- Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) or equivalent experience
- Proven track record of success in leadership roles, preferably in post-acute care settings
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
