Primary Responsibilities

  • Execute comprehensive accounting tasks for the agency, which include:
    • Accounts Payable
    • Payroll Processing
    • Cash Receipts Management
    • Accounts Receivable
    • Carrier Payables
    • Producer/Broker Payables
    • Direct Bill Processing
    • Month-End Financial Reporting
  • Conduct reconciliations and adjustments of balance sheet accounts within agency management systems:
    • Align agency management system balances with general ledger balances
    • Manage bank reconciliations
    • Oversee carrier payables and accounts receivable
    • Resolve discrepancies as they arise
  • Assist internal and partner agency accounting personnel:
    • Agency Management Accounting
    • Best Practices Implementation
    • NetSuite Utilization
  • Engage in additional projects as assigned by management

Essential Qualifications

  • Team-oriented mindset, demonstrating respect for all individuals, integrity, and maturity.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Familiarity with EPIC agency management system and NetSuite.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, along with Outlook and Word.
  • Ability to adapt to a predominantly paperless work environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
