Job Title: Registered Nurse - Nursery Level II

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Nursery Level II department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the smooth operation of our unit.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse - Nursery Level II is responsible for providing direct patient care and performing unit activities under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse. This includes taking vital signs, assisting patients with daily living activities, and coordinating equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

Essential Functions:
  • Provides patient care and performs unit activities under the direction of the Registered Professional Nurse.
  • Takes vital signs and assists patients with daily living activities.
  • Coordinates equipment and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Interacts with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Contributes to the smooth operation of the unit by performing tasks such as running errands and transporting patients and equipment.
Requirements:
  • CPR training required.
  • Phlebotomy training and experience preferred.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Six months of experience as a Nursing Assistant, or is a Nursing student currently enrolled in a formal program who has successfully completed at least one clinical rotation, or is currently enrolled in and successfully completes the NWH Patient Care Assistant Training Program.
