About the Role

The Regional Delivery Driver will be responsible for safely transporting materials and goods to support the Transport Service Team in the daily execution of service operations. This full-time position involves working in a dynamic environment with a large warehouse, data center, and internal transport services.

The primary responsibilities include:

  • Driving safely to destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Collecting inventory/goods from designated collection points, ensuring all Client documents are complete and accurate.
  • Securing inventory/goods in vehicles for safe transportation, maintaining an organized and efficient process.
  • Providing input to the Transport Service Dispatcher to optimize daily planning and logistics.
  • Navigating through GPS apps and local knowledge to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
  • Operating box trucks and cargo vans, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections, documenting results, and identifying any necessary repairs or maintenance.
  • Scheduling regular maintenance checks on assigned Vehicles, collaborating with management as needed.
  • Working effectively in inclement weather conditions, demonstrating adaptability and flexibility.
  • Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality Inventory/Goods, maintaining excellent communication with stakeholders.
  • Executing unloading tasks at destinations, confirming successful transfers, and recording relevant documentation.
  • Developing and applying knowledge of Transport Safety best practices and 5S principles for Safety and Organization.
  • Engaging in ongoing training and attending operational meetings to enhance job performance.
  • Maintaining punctuality and professionalism in all duties, consistently presenting oneself in a positive and respectful manner.
  • Lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds as required by the role.
  • Demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), specifically designed for box trucks and cargo vans.
  • A clean Motor Vehicle Record and ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card physical exam.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in computer systems, including Windows, Apple (Mac and iPad) devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn new skills, respond to changing priorities, and work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent judgment and decision-making skills, with the ability to make sound choices under pressure.
  • Understand all relevant safety requirements and precautions, applying these principles consistently throughout your workday.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, focusing on meeting client needs and expectations.
  • Able to safely lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods as required.
