Respiratory Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at The Laurels of Milford. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our guests with breathing disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Initiate, monitor, and maintain life support systems to ensure the well-being of our guests.
  • Monitor outcomes of various respiratory care procedures to optimize treatment plans.
  • Establish and maintain respiratory equipment par-level and required maintenance records to ensure efficiency and safety.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of care.
  • Conduct quality assurance audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Provide routine clinical care, including ventilator checks, tracheostomy care, suctioning, resident evaluations, care plan development, respiratory medication delivery, supply changes, and equipment management.
Requirements:
  • Must be a certified Respiratory Therapist with a strong foundation in respiratory care principles and practices.
  • Licensed in the state to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
  • Completion of a two-year accredited Respiratory Program to ensure a solid understanding of respiratory care concepts.
  • Current CPR certification to ensure the ability to respond to emergencies.
