Emergency Transport Nurse

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Deliver thorough, secure, and proficient medical assistance to patients during transport with Boston MedFlight.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide exceptional care to patients
- Engage in team meetings and training sessions
- Maintain necessary certifications and licenses
- Complete documentation in accordance with established policies
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders
- Follow safety protocols diligently
- Continuously improve clinical competencies
- Ensure a clean and organized operational space
- Manage and maintain medical supplies and equipment
- Report to assigned locations for duty
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with data entry and administrative tasks
- Participate in community education efforts
- Be ready for extensive travel as required
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- For BSN nurses: Minimum of 3.5 years in high acuity RN roles
- For non-BSN nurses: At least 5 years of nursing experience, including 3 years in high acuity environments
- Experience in level I or II trauma centers is preferred
- Must possess a Massachusetts RN license
- Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and BLS are essential
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license and authorization to work in the U.S.
- Ability to work rotating shifts is required
- Excellent proficiency in the English language is necessary
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must pass Class I employment physical examination
- Able to work under various physical conditions
- Capable of lifting patients and medical equipment
- Must meet specified height and weight criteria
- Pass agility and drug screening assessments
- Free from motion sickness and other physical impairments
