POSITION SUMMARY:
#The Clinical Pharmacist plays a vital role in delivering pharmaceutical care that aligns with the objectives of the Pharmacy Department and the healthcare facility.# This professional is tasked with identifying, addressing, and preventing medication-related issues, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.# The Clinical Pharmacist actively supports the service excellence goals of the organization and the Pharmacy Department.
EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:
Desired:
A minimum of one year of experience in a hospital environment, particularly in an inpatient, decentralized setting.# Proficiency in pharmacy software and familiarity with Windows operating systems.# Proven ability to apply drug knowledge and clinical expertise effectively.
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION:
Minimum:
#Valid license as a Registered Pharmacist in good standing as per California state regulations.
SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE / ABILITIES:
Capability to operate independently with limited supervision.# Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with healthcare and pharmacy personnel, along with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.# Competence in managing frequent interruptions and adapting to varying workloads and schedules.# Skill in prioritizing tasks, making critical decisions, and responding promptly to urgent requests.# Ability to exercise sound professional judgment in all situations.# Familiarity with CII Safe/PYXIS operations.
