Sanitation Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sanitation Lead to join our team at Taleniq Inc. in Ayer, MA.
Job Summary:The Sanitation Lead will be responsible for leading the sanitation team and ensuring that all cleaning activities are conducted in accordance with SQF/Food Safety and HACCP guidelines. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the sanitation team and ensure that all cleaning activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement sanitation procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with SQF/Food Safety and HACCP guidelines.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure that all sanitation procedures are being followed.
- Train and mentor sanitation technicians on all aspects of their duties.
- Assist the Sanitation Manager in the absence of the manager.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Sanitation Manager.
- High school degree or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of cleaning experience, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
- Ability to read and comprehend procedures, work orders, safety data sheets, and other training materials related to food manufacturing and safety.
- Basic knowledge and operation of cleaning equipment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude, including the ability to disassemble and reassemble equipment and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
The Sanitation Lead will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels. The ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively is essential for this role.
