Job Summary

U.S. Farathane is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to provide maintenance support to our production cells/areas, ensuring optimal levels of productivity, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain production equipment in optimal operating condition, performing and tracking preventative maintenance activities.
  • Assist assigned cell/area in troubleshooting and repairing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Collaborate with the cell/area Supervisor to train associates in the proper use of equipment, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.
  • Ensure proper inventory levels of required replacement parts for cell/area equipment, minimizing delays and costs.
  • Change oil on equipment as recommended by the manufacturer, adhering to all prescribed internal and manufacturer maintenance procedures.
  • Participate in team problem-solving activities, including 8D's, communication, and meetings, to drive process improvement and innovation.
  • Responsible for following all internal and OSHA required safety procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the Quality Manual and Associate Handbook.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and programmable controller problems.
  • Experience in operating various machining equipment.
Working Environment
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts.
  • The employee must not wear any loose-fitting clothing that may get in the way of the moving machinery.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme heat and vibration.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Ability to work outside for short periods of time.
