Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage complex legal matters with minimal oversight.
  • Draft high-quality legal documents, including correspondence and trust administration paperwork, in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with clients, senior attorneys, and team members to facilitate efficient resolutions.
  • Analyze client legal issues, explore options, and determine the most effective course of action.
  • Represent clients confidently in hearings and other legal proceedings.
  • Stay updated on relevant estate, trust, and tax legislation.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top-tier institution; LLM in Tax or Estates & Trusts is preferred.
  • Active and good standing license with the California State Bar.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrable experience in trust and probate administration with a reputable firm.
  • Extensive experience in estate and gift tax planning.
  • Specialized knowledge in dealing with high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a knack for engaging clients.
  • Strong research and drafting abilities; detail-oriented and precise.
  • Self-sufficient, dependable, and skilled in organization and follow-up.
  • A reliable team player committed to professional growth and development.
  • Familiarity with local court rules and procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with technology, including document management and timekeeping software.
