Your Role:

The Surgical Technologist II will deliver technical support during the perioperative phase under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, adhering to established clinical protocols.

Your Contributions to the Team:

  • Ensure the availability of essential supplies and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Prepare sterile environments with instruments, supplies, and medications
  • Conduct accurate counts with the circulator before and after surgical interventions
  • Exhibit proficiency in surgical techniques and patient positioning

Qualifications for Success:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • At least three years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
  • Participation in four in-service training sessions annually
  • Serve as the CST Representative in unit governance
  • Possess a Basic Life Support - CPR Certification
  • Hold a Certified Surgical Technician credential
