Endoscopy Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Endoscopy Technician to join our team at Hudson Regional Hospital. As an Endoscopy Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Endoscopy Suite, providing exceptional patient care, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

• Assist physicians and nurses with endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times.
• Prepare patients for moderate sedation, position them for procedures, and maintain their position during the procedure.
• Prepare and demonstrate the proper use of endoscopic equipment and instruments, ensuring they are functioning correctly and safely.
• Care for specimens as directed, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to universal precautions.
• Perform necessary clean-up and room turnover between procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Safeguard patient physical integrity and safety, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain orderliness of the Endoscopy Suite, restocking equipment and supplies as needed, and reporting defective equipment in a timely manner.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience in patient care, preferably in an endoscopy setting.
• BLS - AHA approved.
