Job Description

The Service Advisor will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional customer experiences at Coleman Equipment, Inc. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  • Provide top-notch customer service, addressing technical questions and concerns while prioritizing departmental tasks.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, collaborating with all departments to deliver exceptional service and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Accurately write, manage, and audit repair orders, verifying the accuracy and detail of completed repairs.
  • Update technician time logs and provide detailed reports to management, highlighting the service department's productivity and progress toward dealership goals.
  • Anticipate and address potential lulls in shop work, proactively reaching out to customers to build additional business.
  • Effectively greet customers, identify problems, and determine service needs.
  • Discuss options and extra services with customers, providing detailed written estimates for necessary repairs or services.
  • Keep customers informed throughout the service process, addressing any changes in cost or time, and recommending additional repairs or services as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints and work with manufacturers to resolve ongoing or serious issues.
  • Maintain the dealership's service certification with represented manufacturers and collaborate with other service departments to ensure consistency in service delivery.
