This role requires critical thinking skills and sound judgment in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and assisting nursing personnel in rendering safe, efficient nursing care, and maintaining current certification in BLS.

Key Responsibilities- Provide complete surgical charts to preop the day before scheduled surgery
- Ensure patient safety through thorough review of the patient's chart, written orders, and communication with physicians, anesthesia, and other healthcare providers
- Supervise and assist nursing personnel in rendering safe, efficient nursing care
- Maintain current certification in BLS
- Idaho RN license and BLS required
- ACLS and PALS if working outside of PAT, expected within 1 year of hire
- Accredited nursing school, minimum 3 years experience in acute care nursing, preferably POHA/PACU
- Must be proficient in EKG testing
