We are currently looking for a talented Mechanical/Marine Engineer to enhance our efforts in supporting diverse Air Cushion Vehicle (ACV) initiatives. This role may offer the flexibility of remote work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform design and analytical tasks for marine engineering systems
  • Oversee design and analysis efforts for the development of ACV systems
  • Work collaboratively with project teams to meet objectives
  • Coordinate task specifications and schedules
  • Evaluate technical documentation and propose solutions
  • Investigate and develop products that meet client specifications
  • Generate comprehensive reports detailing design and analytical processes

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in naval architecture or marine engineering
  • 4+ years of pertinent experience
  • Familiarity with composite materials and Finite Element Analysis
  • Proficient in Autodesk Inventor and/or SolidWorks
  • Willingness to travel for inspections and installations
  • Strong analytical capabilities and reporting proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics
  • Background with the US Navy
  • Capability to produce 3D models and 2D drawing sets

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must possess or be eligible for DoD Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time
  • Occasional mobility to access office equipment and engage with team members and clients

Compensation:

The anticipated salary for this position ranges from $73,500 to $122,600. Final compensation may vary based on various factors.
