About the Role

This position offers a part-time schedule with 12-hour shifts, allowing for a perfect blend of work-life balance and career growth. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, and develop individualized plans of care for patients. You will also leverage critical thinking skills to anticipate and recognize changes in patient status, taking swift action to modify the plan of care or elevate concerns to the care team when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advocate for patients, upholding their autonomy and ensuring informed consent.
  • Mentor colleagues to enhance nursing practice and the profession.
  • Assume authority and accountability for nursing care, delegating tasks to other members of the care delivery team as needed.
  • Prioritize and organize time to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Participate in governance of practice, contributing to research, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice at the local level.
Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you must possess a Graduate degree from an accredited Nursing Program, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) and one year of experience or Associate Degree (ADN) prepared nurses with two years' experience. Additionally, you should hold a current Licensed Registered Nurse license with New Hampshire eligibility and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. In some units, ACLS certification may be required upon hire.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development. The estimated annual salary is approximately $98,500, based on a 60% FTE.
