Job Overview

Hydraulic Technician

We are looking for a proficient Hydraulic Technician to become a key member of our team, ensuring that our operations maintain optimal efficiency. Your primary responsibilities will include the upkeep and repair of various machinery, particularly focusing on hydraulic cylinders and pumps that can reach sizes from 10 feet to an impressive 80 feet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and rectify mechanical and hydraulic system failures on large hydraulic cylinders and pumps (up to 80 feet).
  • Disassemble, thoroughly repair, and refurbish hydraulic cylinders and pumps to guarantee their peak functionality.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on a range of equipment, including smaller hydraulic systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts for the movement of equipment and materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hydraulic repairs (not essential, but advantageous).
  • Knowledge of electrical schematics and troubleshooting electrical problems.
  • A solid grasp of mechanical principles and strong problem-solving abilities.
