Position Overview
  • Specialty: CVPICU
  • Discipline: RN
  • Employment Type: Travel
  • Shift: 12 hours, nights
  • Weekly Hours: 36 hours
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in critical condition.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in patient assessments and care planning.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license in South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU.
  • Proficient in EPIC charting.
  • Current AHA BLS and PALS certifications; ACLS preferred.
  • Experience with ECMO and CRRT is a plus.
  • Prior experience in a teaching hospital is preferred.

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers are welcome, provided they meet experience requirements.
  • Flexibility to float within pediatric units as needed.
  • Local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • Weekend and holiday rotations are required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination is not mandated; flu vaccination is required with exemptions considered.
