About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a comprehensive array of sophisticated non-invasive procedures to demonstrate the appropriate anatomy of interest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality ultrasound exams to diagnose and treat vascular diseases.
  • Document patient history and communicate with physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Ensure a safe and secure patient and work environment by maintaining awareness of safety hazard labels.
  • Provide technical support for the smooth operation of the Ultrasound Department.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound developments and participate in continuing education seminars.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Ultrasound.
  • Registered or Registry Eligible.
  • 1 year experience preferred.
