We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Industrial Hygiene Scientist to join our team at Apex Companies, LLC. As a key member of our environmental consulting and engineering firm, you will be responsible for developing and implementing industrial hygiene assessments to meet our clients' program needs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement industrial hygiene assessments to identify and mitigate chemical exposure, noise, general safety, indoor environmental quality, and air monitoring hazards.
- Lead teams during the implementation of assessments and ensure safe work practices on all project work.
- Assist the Project Manager in preparing and reviewing reports, including noise and chemical assessments, water intrusion and mold assessments, and building material sample collection.
- Serve as project manager for noise and chemical assessments, water intrusion and mold assessments, and building material sample collection.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience in industrial hygiene field sampling and data collection.
- Experience with industrial exposure monitoring, asbestos, mold, and/or lead sampling.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER certification and State Asbestos Inspector license preferred.
- Experience conducting asbestos surveys and overseeing asbestos/mold abatements; Asbestos Designer license preferred.
- Valid driver's license and personal vehicle required.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
