Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to determine project specifications and ensure timely completion.
  • Negotiate contracts with external vendors to secure profitable agreements.
  • Obtain necessary permits and licenses from relevant authorities.
  • Determine resource requirements, including manpower, equipment, and materials, while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Plan and schedule construction operations to meet deadlines.
  • Acquire equipment and materials, monitoring stock levels to prevent shortages.
  • Hire contractors and allocate responsibilities.
  • Supervise laborers, mechanics, and other staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Evaluate project progress and prepare detailed reports.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and report any issues.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience as a construction project manager.
  • In-depth understanding of construction procedures, material management, and project management principles.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and quality and health and safety standards.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and construction/project management software.
  • Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • A team player with leadership abilities.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an advantage.
