Your OpportunityOur Geo-Environmental department is seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our team. As an Environmental Engineer, you will work within a team of environmental professionals to complete a wide range of design projects, including stream restoration, Agricultural Best Management Practices (BMPs), and abandoned mine land reclamation.
Key Responsibilities- Lead engineering efforts related to conservation and restoration practices.
- Develop and maintain design plans, including drawings and calculations.
- Evaluate BMPs and restoration features.
- Maintain task budgets and assist with proposal preparation.
- Collaborate with project teams to effectively describe and deliver scope of work.
- Perform and check design calculations, technical specifications, and prepare cost estimates.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering field from an ABET-accredited school or related field of study.
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of job-related experience.
- Licensure/Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) required.
- Thorough knowledge of the A/E/S industry and the ability to quickly review, understand, and resolve complex design and construction-related issues.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and HEC-RAS.
- Experience with natural stream channel design, E&S plans, agricultural design, and/or stormwater design.
