At Stuteville Chevrolet of Durant, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified GM Technician to join our team. As a vital member of our service department, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences while ensuring the highest level of vehicle repairs and maintenance.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with a focus on engine management systems, fuel management systems, transmission, electrical alignment, steering, suspension, brakes, etc. Additionally, they will be able to operate a vehicle, know and understand dealership computer systems, attend company and factory training, and stay current with manufacturer warranty requirements.

A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, is offered for this position. Key Responsibilities
  • Perform swift and accurate automotive repairs, including engine management systems, fuel management systems, transmission, electrical alignment, steering, suspension, brakes, etc.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, alignment, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Follow repair escalation process and adhere to all factory warranty requirements, including time punches, accurate documentation, parts returns.
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to inform customers of any additional services needed.
  • Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and meet company MVR policy requirements.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • 2+ years' experience preferred.
