Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the complete parts sales process from initiation to completion.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their parts orders.
  • Engage with both customers and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Interpret and utilize the parts catalog effectively when sourcing parts.
  • Handle incoming calls, providing accurate pricing and relevant information.
  • Examine body shop estimates to ensure the accuracy of ordered parts and pricing alignment.
  • Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
  • Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory.
  • Conduct weekly inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Alert the parts manager regarding out-of-stock items or urgent shop supplies.
  • Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and place emergency orders as needed.
  • Ensure all internal parts requests are charged to the appropriate service repair orders.
  • Process payments from retail customers or secure credit approvals.
  • Prepare orders for daily shipment, delivery, or customer pick-up.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in automotive parts sales is preferred.
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced work setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Capable of reading and interpreting safety guidelines, operating instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Proficient in performing calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
