Position: Terraform Specialist

Location: Princeton, NJ (Onsite, 5 days a week)

Employment Type: Fulltime with Quantum Integrators

Key Qualifications:

  • Containerization and Orchestration: Proficient in using container technologies and orchestration platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Networking and Security: Solid understanding of networking principles, cloud security best practices, and tools for infrastructure protection.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Experience with monitoring solutions like CloudWatch or Stack, including the ability to configure alerts and dashboards for effective infrastructure oversight.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Familiarity with additional IaC tools, including AWS CloudFormation and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates.
  • Terraform Expertise: Proven experience in developing Terraform scripts for provisioning AWS resources, particularly for SAP and Oracle environments.

Terraform Skills:

  • Expertise in crafting, testing, and managing Terraform configurations.
  • Capability to design modular and reusable Terraform components.
  • Experience with Terraform state management and utilizing remote backends.

Cloud Services Knowledge:

  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud offerings and resources, including compute, storage, and networking.
  • Familiarity with cloud-native design principles and industry best practices.

Configuration Management:

  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Chef for configuration management.

Scripting and Automation:

  • Strong proficiency in scripting languages, including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Ability to create and maintain automation scripts for deployment and operational tasks.

CI/CD Integration:

  • Experience in integrating Terraform with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

Certifications:

  • Terraform Associate certification is highly regarded.
