Job Description

ATC Largo is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide private duty school nursing services to students in Prince George's County and surrounding areas.

Scope of Work:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-on-one nursing care to students with documented health issues requiring constant monitoring by an RN or LPN. Services will be provided at the students' school during the school day, and may include:

  • Urinary catheterizations
  • Suctioning and reinsertion of tracheotomy tube
  • Medication administration and management
  • Oxygen administration and ventilator care
  • Enteral feedings
  • Other treatments ordered by the physician, physician's assistant, or nurse practitioner

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Completion of an accredited licensed practical nursing program or RN
  • Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice
  • At least one year of experience in the last 3 years
  • Background screening as required by state or client contract
  • OIG, SAM, OFAC, and NSO screening
  • Current health provider CPR from the American Heart Association at the BLS level
  • Hepatitis B Statement or Declination
  • TB Screening and TB baseline testing at hire
  • Drug screening as required by the contract
