Conservation Officer

This is a seasonal position that requires securing and monitoring the grounds of our campground, answering questions from guests, enforcing rules, and ensuring their safety. The successful candidate will work collaboratively as part of a team and assist other departments as needed.

• Monitor the property for any issues or potential problems.
• Ensure the property is properly secured.
• Enforce resort rules and respond to guest concerns.
• Monitor incoming guests at the campground gate and validate access.
• Perform routine patrols of the grounds.
• Handle camping reservations, check-ins, and sales of select store items.
• Prioritize guest safety and satisfaction.
• Provide on-call emergency services as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

To be considered for this role, applicants should possess:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills, along with proficiency in computer applications.
• An ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or the RV industry is an asset.
• A valid driver's license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• The ability to work weekends and holidays regularly.
