Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Associate Driver to join our team at Great Lakes Coca-Cola. As an Associate Driver, you will be responsible for safely and professionally operating a commercial motor vehicle, delivering products to our customers, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle and maneuver it in congested areas with limited space and potential obstacles.
  • Unload and deliver products to our customers utilizing various methodologies, including manual conveyors, carts, or pallets in multi-temperature environments.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and store personnel.
  • Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork, collect company assets, and complete pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicle.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain contact with shift supervisor, dispatch, and/or co-workers.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or equivalent driving experience in the military.
  • Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record in compliance with DOT requirements.
  • Must be able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to pass a post-offer background, DOT Physical, and drug test.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Customer service experience.
  • Experience with a handheld ordering device and working in a multi-temperature environment.
  • Stocking, product handling, local delivery, or unloading experience.
  • Foodservice distribution, grocery store, or beverage delivery experience.
