Momentum Resource Solutions is a leading global bank seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Design Manager to join our team. This contract role requires employees to work onsite 2-3 days per week in New York City.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Design Manager to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various teams, including the Cloud Team, Automation Team, OS Engineering Teams, Networking Team, and Operations Team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, automation tools, operating systems, networking protocols, and IT operations. They will be responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure is efficient, reliable, and adaptable to changing business requirements and technological advancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration and Communication: Coordinate meetings and discussions between Infrastructure IT and Front Office IT teams to maintain open lines of communication.
  • Project Alignment and Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders to review projects and provide weekly summaries of projects spearheaded by each vertical.
  • Process Improvement Initiatives: Identify opportunities for process improvement for ticket/incident management and work with teams to implement changes.
  • Technology Upgrades/Enhancements and Deployment Support: Act as a liaison between Infrastructure IT and Front Office IT during technology upgrades/enhancements, migrations, and deployments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Infrastructure IT or a related field.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) working as an Infrastructure Architect in the finance industry.
  • Strong understanding of finance industry regulations, compliance standards, and security frameworks.
  • Extensive knowledge of cloud infrastructure, automation tools, operating systems, networking protocols, and IT operations.
  • Proficient in infrastructure architecture frameworks and design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and Corporate Real Estate teams.
  • Industry certifications are highly desirable.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
