CT Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist PRN to join our team at Heart Hospital of Austin. As a member of our imaging services team, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiological procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities- Perform CT procedures, documenting required information and communicating with primary physicians and direct care staff.
- Coordinate and assist in patient care, collaborating with other CT technologists, physicians, nurses, and allied health staff.
- Evaluate patient conditions to ensure adequate performance of CT exams.
- Provide comprehensive direct patient care, ensuring a safe and comforting environment.
- Consult with staff as needed to meet patient and family needs.
- Ensure availability and safe utilization of clinical equipment and supplies.
- Possess knowledge of patient growth and development across the lifespan.
- Perform Point of Care procedures according to established policy and procedure, documenting required information and complying with quality control standards.
- Associate Degree from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist certification with the Texas Medical Board.
- Current American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT) Registered Radiologic Technologist RT (R) license.
- Current American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT)/Registered C T Technologist, CT(R) license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
