• Enroll and complete the Paragon training program for Level 1 (Groom Tech) within the required timeline.
• Provide safe and gentle pet handling, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our furry clients.
• Bathe, dry, brush, and comb various coat types, using the right techniques and equipment.
• Trim nails, clean ears, and perform basic clipper techniques, all while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
• Offer exceptional customer service, engaging with pet owners and providing personalized advice on pet care and grooming.
• Maintain accurate records of pet clients, including services provided and vaccination records.
• Operate computer systems, cash registers, and other store equipment with ease and efficiency.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Must be comfortable working with dogs and cats, demonstrating patience and compassion for animals.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately to complete all documentation.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and customers.
• Physical stamina to move around the store, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.

Our working environment is favorable, with moderate noise levels. You'll be exposed to sharp grooming instruments, perfumed shampoos and soaps, pets, and pet waste. occasional exposure to wet conditions, particularly when bathing dogs. You'll work with cats and dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
