We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Deli Clerk to join our team at Niemann Foods. As a Deli Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that our products are of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, responding to their needs, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Food Preparation: Prepare and package food products for sale, including slicing meats, cheeses, and other deli items.
- Sales and Merchandising: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the deli counter, shelves, and floors. Ensure that all products are properly displayed and priced.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, including ordering and receiving products as needed.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous customer service or food preparation experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
The Deli Clerk will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent exposure to cold temperatures, chemicals, and other hazards. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time is required.
